This presentation explores networking in the context of being a freelance academic editor. While networking is acknowledged as an important part of being successful in business, most people approach it with trepidation, confusion, or discomfort—and misunderstand what it means to network effectively. During this session, participants will reframe the concept of networking, assess their current network, and develop a plan to create a network that is unique to their needs, strengths, and business goals.
